Welsh football star Ramsey has boosted the reward for information concerning his vanished pet Halo to £15k.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who currently represents Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.

Halo, who disappeared on 9 October, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.

"Any information regarding our beloved Halo please contact us. Big reward for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and will return to our side shortly," Ramsey wrote on social media.

Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Pleas

Ramsey initially announced that Halo had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently shared several images of the adored canine on Instagram.

A £7.5k bounty was originally provided, but with lack of updates on Halo's location after a seven days, Ramsey and his family raised the sum.

"We just want Halo back," he said in a further appeal on social media after the elderly dog disappeared.

A recent picture share is a grayscale snapshot of the beagle sleeping, her head resting in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "How I wish to cuddle you once more sweet Halo."

Household's Worries and Context

The footballer has also posted a message from his spouse Colleen on online channels saying they have some "serious questions" regarding the disappearance and fear the household "may never get explanations".

"We still haven't found our dog. I don't think we ever will," his wife's message expressed.

The Wales captain joined Mexico's top-flight club Pumas UNAM in recent months and had his first appearance in the Mexican league in August.
